Satya Nadella, the third CEO of Microsoft, was born to a humble family in Hyderabad, India. He attained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. He moved to the USA to pursue an M.S. degree in Computer Science at the Unversity of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Nadella worked for Sun Microsystems as a technology staff. Like most Indians, Nadella is very fond of cricket and also played for his school team. He gives credit to the game for teaching him a thing or two about leadership and teamwork. Married to his childhood family friend Anupama in 1992, he has three children, a son and two daughters.
